What you'll do

• Evaluate and treat patients within the specialty and standardized procedures
• obtain histories and perform physical examinations
• request and evaluate diagnostic studies
• order, furnish, and prescribe medications under applicable procedures
• order and collect specimens
• perform designated procedures after demonstrating competency
• obtain informed consent as indicated
• coordinate admissions, discharges, and care
• provide patient teaching and counseling
• collaborate with supervising physicians and anesthesiologists.
