Porter — Conference Center

Job overview

The Porter role is onsite at the Bank of America Conference Center in Washington, DC. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with evening and weekend availability required. Pay is $19–$23 per hour. Restaurant Associates provides dining and event catering for museums, performing arts centers, and corporations. The porter maintains cleanliness and sanitation in front-of-house and kitchen areas, supports service readiness, and helps receive and move deliveries. These duties contribute to safe, orderly conference center food service.

What you'll do

• Bus, clear, and clean tables
• sweep floors and prepare areas before service
• transport dishes and utensils safely
• wash dishes, glasses, and pots
• clean cooking stations and equipment
• maintain display equipment
• receive deliveries and move them to storage
• follow sanitation, HACCP, safety, and lifting procedures.
