The Lead Teacher, Infant and Toddler role is onsite in New York, NY, with pay of $20.96–$30.77 per hour. The teacher joins Cardinal McCloskey Community Services’ Early Childhood Education team, serving children from six weeks to three years. CMCS’s mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and people with developmental disabilities. The role provides care and early education in a safe, responsive, developmentally rich environment. It supports each child’s individual culture, language, and abilities, establishes routines that foster emotional security, and documents developmental progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD and ChildPlus.

What you'll do

• Provide care and education for infants and toddlers
• implement integrated service delivery aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, DOH Article 47 Guidelines, and CMCS policies
• support children’s individual needs
• establish daily routines and transitions
• create nurturing interactions and environments
• document developmental progress weekly using Teaching Strategies GOLD and ChildPlus.
