Direct Support Staff, Sacramento House Split Shift

The Direct Support Staff role is onsite in Santa Rosa, CA, on a split-shift schedule: Thursday and Friday mornings and afternoons, plus Saturday and Sunday afternoons, for 26 hours per week. Compensation is not specified. DuMolin Community Living provides supportive care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides daily care and companionship while promoting residents’ health, safety, dignity, and independence in a group-home setting. Support with personal care, medication routines, meals, transportation, activities, and documentation helps residents participate in daily and community life.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• administer prescribed medications and track health conditions under licensed-nurse supervision
• prepare meals according to dietary plans
• provide transportation to programs, work, visits, and community events
• facilitate recreational, therapeutic, and social activities
• maintain a clean and safe living environment
• document services, incidents, medications, and daily care
• communicate with residents, families, coworkers, and clinical teams.
