The Facilities Utility Worker — 2nd Shift position is onsite in Suttons Bay, MI. Compensation is $16.46 per hour. The role supports the Grand Traverse Band’s governmental operations and service to Tribal Members, Tribal Council, and staff. The utility worker maintains Tribal buildings and parking areas through housekeeping, indoor and outdoor upkeep, and basic maintenance that does not require certification. The work helps keep facilities clean, organized, and functional across changing assignments and seasons.

What you'll do

• Perform housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying wastebaskets
• change and check light bulbs and fixtures
• complete assigned projects by priority and timeline
• safely handle power tools
• move and set up furniture
• inventory and order supplies or equipment
• maintain supply areas
• assist maintenance staff
• follow confidentiality requirements and OSHA rules
• perform indoor and outdoor upkeep in all seasons.

Why this role

The listed schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or as scheduled by the supervisor. High school diploma or GED is preferred; a Michigan driver’s license is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
