What you'll do

• Provide professional care to patients and clients
• communicate with clients, doctors, and team members and route inquiries
• handle sensitive client situations empathetically and escalate medical questions
• assist with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• restrain animals using low-stress handling techniques
• administer medications, prepare vaccines, collect samples, and perform basic lab tests as directed
• enter treatment plans and maintain medical records
• educate clients on common vaccinations, medications, and treatment protocols
• enter charges and assist with checkout
• keep exam rooms and hospital areas clean and stocked.
