What you'll do

- verify code capture and physician abstraction
- meet a 95% accuracy standard
- resolve billing errors
- assign codes across outpatient ancillary, emergency, and inpatient and outpatient surgery departments
- determine diagnoses and procedures, assign MS-DRG and POA indicators, and query physicians when documentation is unclear or conflicting.
