What you'll do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial automation and control systems
• troubleshoot PLC-based systems, instrumentation, and control panels
• install and terminate control wiring
• commission and start up systems and instrumentation
• install, calibrate, and maintain transmitters
• perform loop checks and functional testing
• interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, schematics, and specifications
• assist with PLC troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments when required
• document installation, calibration, maintenance, and repairs
• mentor Automation Technician I and II personnel
• follow HSE and Lockout/Tagout procedures and use required PPE.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience with industrial automation, instrumentation, or control systems. Technical certification or an associate degree, experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC platforms, and OSHA, H2S Awareness, or First Aid/CPR certifications are preferred.
