The Direct Support Professional / Community Support Specialist role is based at the listed Hannover and Felton, PA locations. The schedule is Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. in Hannover and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. in Felton. Pay is $20–$21 per hour. Applied Counseling and Consulting Services supports adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The specialist provides person-centered support that helps individuals build daily living skills, pursue personal goals, and participate in their communities. Working with clinical staff, the role implements individualized support and behavioral plans while promoting independence, safety, and effective communication.

What you'll do

• Provide direct support tailored to individual needs and goals
• assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• support life skills, social skills, and community participation
• implement individualized support plans and behavior strategies
• maintain documentation and progress notes
• communicate with team members, supervisors, and families
• respond to changing needs.
