What you'll do

• Drives operational excellence in stores.
• Responsible for merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, opening/closing the store, overseeing associates, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Supports and guides sales associates in merchandise handling and product knowledge.
• Facilitates associate experience and development.
• Delegates and validates daily tasks.
• Leads associates as leader on duty.
• Addresses associate complaints and grievances.
• Recognizes and celebrates associates driving engagement.
• Executes merchandise strategies.
• Manages inventory levels, conducts audits, and analyzes sales trends.
• Assists in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Operates POS systems and handles cash.
• Maintains store standards and leads a culture of empowerment.
• Shared responsibility with store opening and closing procedures.
• Completes monthly live cycle counts.
• Responsible for pet care maintenance and caring for new arrival and sick pets.
• Ensures positive online order experiences.
• Supports associate and pet parent experience.
• Responsible for taking immediate action for sick/injured pets.
• Follows company policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
