The Ultrasound Technologist, Sonographer role is onsite in Syracuse, NY. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with occasional evening shifts (16:00–MN). Pay is $55 per hour. The role provides ultrasound imaging services for patients at a hospital facility. The sonographer performs a broad range of ultrasound and vascular studies, evaluates image quality, and documents findings. The work supports accurate diagnostic imaging and coordinated clinical workflow with medical staff.

What you'll do

• Perform abdominal, renal, retroperitoneal, gynecologic, obstetric, male pelvic, small-parts, superficial-mass, vascular, aorta, ABI, and segmental-pressure imaging
• produce and evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic value
• document findings and maintain patient and imaging records
• collaborate with medical staff
• operate ultrasound equipment safely
• perform 8–15 exams per day depending on case complexity.

Why this role

Requires RDMS certification through ARDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and/or Breast depending on services, and American Heart Association BLS/CPR. Three years of ultrasound experience, Phillips EPIQ 7 or EPIQ 5 experience, and PACS proficiency are preferred.
