Caregiver

Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in Largo, FL; compensation is not specified. The caregiver will support an older adult in her apartment at The Palms of Largo, working with two other caregivers. The role exists to help the client maintain dignity, comfort, safety, and independence through personal care, companionship, household support, and transportation to appointments and outings.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and daily personal-care needs
• drive and accompany the client to shopping, medical appointments, and outings using the caregiver’s vehicle
• prepare meals
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• track prescription refills
• walk the client’s small Yorkie.

Why this role

Approximately 32 hours per week on a set, predictable schedule, with daytime shifts from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM and evening shifts from 5:30 PM–8:30 PM. High school diploma is preferred.
