Installation Technician II, Audio-Visual Systems

What you'll do

• Install audio-visual equipment, cable, connectors, speakers, microphones, racks, and projector and screen support structures
• fabricate and wire racks
• test cabling and system functionality
• perform field installation of control system programs as needed
• load and test code or modify it under engineer or programmer direction
• lead short projects not requiring commissioning
• mentor and supervise installation technicians
• coordinate and report progress to project managers
• interpret drawings, blueprints, and manuals
• complete project documentation
• travel to job sites.
