The Field Service Technician — Radio/IP Networks position is based in Hartford, CT and requires travel 75% or more of the time. Compensation is $40,000–$80,000 per year. Mutualink develops wireless communications technology to address first-responder interoperability needs and deploys critical networks. The technician implements, deploys and tests Mutualink's Interoperable Multimedia System. The role supports critical communications by installing and validating radio, IP network and video components and explaining technical issues to first responders.

What you'll do

• Implement, deploy and test the Interoperable Multimedia System
• work with IP networking, radio communications and video systems
• configure or support network equipment as applicable
• test cables and electrical continuity
• install hardware such as IP cameras and display connections
• explain technical issues to customers and first responders
• travel to deployment sites.

Why this role
