The Maintenance Technician — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Grand Prairie, TX. Pay is $34–$36 per hour, and the stated shift is 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m. The role supports Quality Packaging’s warehouse and production equipment operations. The technician maintains and repairs production, material-handling, and facility equipment to help keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient. The work includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, documenting repairs, and responding to equipment failures and maintenance calls.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance on material-handling equipment
• document maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• select repair parts and update parts records
• repair mechanical damage and replace defective parts, including welding, brazing, or soldering as needed
• maintain batteries and chargers
• troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, piping, fabrication, building, and production equipment
• interpret schematics, manuals, and work orders
• comply with OSHA safety requirements and maintain an orderly work area.
