What you'll do

• Arrange and conduct business tax compliance audits
• examine financial records and maintain audit spreadsheets
• assist customers with license applications, fees, and code questions
• process applications, licenses, and fees
• prepare audit findings and follow up on payments
• review alcohol license applications and renewals
• inspect businesses for proper licensing
• contact unlicensed or delinquent businesses and issue notices or citations
• prepare cases for municipal court or hearings
• maintain reports and inspection logs
• support software upgrades and staff training
• travel to business locations.
