This full-time summer internship is with FM’s Data Visualization and Reporting team. FM is a mutual insurance company focused on property risk management and resilience. The intern uses data and visualization to help address business questions and support informed decisions. The role builds and improves reports and dashboards, validates data, and collaborates with analytics teammates and business partners to turn findings into clear insights.

What you'll do

• Write SQL queries to extract, organize, transform, and analyze data
• build and enhance reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel
• translate data into insights and visual stories
• use Visual Studio Code and other development tools
• collaborate with team members and business partners
• identify improvements to reports and dashboards
• support data validation and testing
• gain exposure to AI-assisted coding tools.
