Child Development Specialist

The Child Development Specialist role is onsite in Kilgore, TX, with stated compensation of $40,000–$55,000 per year. The position supports childcare programs in the Workforce Solutions East Texas Board’s 14-county region by helping them achieve and maintain Texas Rising Star certification. The specialist mentors childcare directors, teachers, and staff; provides technical assistance and professional development; and supports assessments and quality improvement plans. This work helps childcare programs strengthen practices, meet certification goals, and expand access to high-quality early childhood services in East Texas.

• Provide hands-on mentoring and technical assistance to childcare directors, teachers, and staff
