The Custom Applicator role is onsite in Nehawka, NE; compensation is not specified in the posting. The position is full-time. Frontier Cooperative serves Nebraska farming communities with grain, agronomy, feed, and energy products and services. The applicator supports agricultural customers by safely applying crop protection products and fertilizers to producer fields, coordinating product loading, and maintaining application equipment. The work helps ensure products are applied according to labels and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate constant-flow sprayers, variable-rate applicators, and dry spreaders
• apply chemicals, insecticides, lime, and fertilizers to fields
• follow product labels for application rates and usage
• position equipment while avoiding property damage
• prevent and report spills
• prepare equipment for loading and coordinate transfers
• perform routine maintenance and repairs
• clean chemical tanks and equipment
• follow company safety standards and applicable regulations
• maintain required licenses and endorsements
• attend educational workshops and review technical publications.

Why this role

A valid operator’s license and Commercial Chemical Applicator’s license are required. CDL Class A or B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements is required or must be obtainable within 90 days.
