Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist role is onsite in Louisville, KY, with an annual base pay range of $70,000–$90,000. The role manages purchase orders and supplier agreements for assigned projects, helping ensure commercial terms, cost, quality, and delivery requirements are met. It coordinates sourcing, subcontractor performance, documentation, and logistics to support project execution and company objectives.

What you'll do

• Manage subcontractor agreements and communicate scope changes
• monitor supplier cost, schedules, and progress
• develop RFQs, evaluate quotations, and award purchase orders
• verify supplier qualifications and certifications
• finalize commercial documents
• prepare bid evaluations when required
• review purchase documentation packages
• coordinate drawings, schedules, shipping, and delivery milestones with suppliers and logistics
• participate in supplier evaluations and performance reviews
• identify and mitigate supplier and delivery risks.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or applicable experience substituted at management discretion; five years of experience with general steel fabrication management practices; and experience managing subcontracts or project-based procurement. A valid passport for international travel is required.
