Recovery Support Specialist / Driver – Behavioral Health Technician

The Recovery Support Specialist / Driver – Behavioral Health Technician role is onsite in Avondale, AZ. Pay is $18–$23 per hour. S.T.A.R. provides recovery-focused behavioral health services and transportation to members, using lived recovery experience and professional training to support individualized goals. The role facilitates recovery services, supports care planning and coordination, and transports members safely. It contributes to members’ coping skills, independence, and progress while working under clinical oversight.

What you'll do

• Facilitate individual and group services focused on recovery, coping skills, healthy relationships, and independent living
• support service planning, intakes, outreach, and clinical coordination
• transport members in company vehicles and maintain records
• document services in the electronic health record
• recognize safety concerns and follow de-escalation and crisis procedures
• protect confidentiality and member rights
• participate in meetings, training, supervision, and clinical oversight.
