What you'll do

• Prepare culture plates and slides for microbiology and tubes and slides for parasitology
• handle biological samples in a clinical laboratory
• maintain sequential order, sample-to-test matching, and transport media identification
• follow written standard operating procedures and quality-control policies
• communicate production issues and inventory needs to the department manager or team leader
• use chemicals and disinfectant solutions safely
• maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
