Assurance Senior Associate

The Assurance Senior Associate works in the office and at client locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area, including Minneapolis, Minnesota. Compensation is $72,000–$102,000 per year. Boulay’s Assurance team provides audit, review, and attestation services to clients ranging from privately held businesses to publicly traded companies. The associate takes ownership of significant portions of client engagements, performing testing, preparing financial statements, evaluating reporting processes, and contributing to engagement planning. The role also reviews work and supports the development of less experienced team members while helping clients build confidence in financial reporting.

What you'll do

• Perform audits, reviews, compilations, and other attestation services
• assist with engagement planning, risk assessment, testing, and financial statement preparation
• review associates’ work for accuracy and compliance
• research technical accounting issues
• contribute to client communications and deliverables
• maintain client relationships
• monitor engagement progress and budgets
• support staff development
• maintain time reporting, documentation, schedules, and client records
• stay current on accounting standards and professional development requirements.
