Litigation Paralegal

The Litigation Paralegal role is onsite in Lewiston, ME, and is full-time and hourly; compensation is $29–$35 per hour. The paralegal reports to an assigned attorney and supports the firm’s litigation team. The paralegal helps attorneys manage cases from inception through trial by organizing files, preparing and filing documents, tracking deadlines, and supporting hearings and trial preparation. This work contributes to efficient case management and client outcomes.

What you'll do

• Organize case files and coordinate assignments
• assist with drafting, reviewing, and filing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
• maintain physical and electronic files
• organize exhibits and deposition materials
• prepare trial binders and coordinate hearing logistics
• track deadlines
• verify document accuracy
• assist with legal research, case administration, and special projects.
