Freelance Live-Action Sports Photographer — Seasonal Travel

The Freelance Live-Action Sports Photographer role is onsite at events throughout the United States, with travel during the February–June competition season; starting pay is $25 per hour. DanceBUG's media team covers dance competitions and handles image editing. The photographer captures fast-moving dance performances and action images under changing stage lighting, then backs up, transfers, and uploads images using DanceBUG's workflow. The role contributes event photography to DanceBUG's dance media and event technology work.

What you'll do

• Photograph fast-moving dance performances under changing stage lighting
• capture sharp, well-timed action images
• work alongside DanceBUG's media team at live competitions
• back up, transfer, and upload images using the company's workflow. Attend virtual training and at least two live training events
• provide compatible professional camera equipment.
