The Emergency Shelter Case Aide — Men’s Shelter role is onsite at Samaritan House in Rochester, NY. Starting pay is $18 per hour. Open Door Mission provides a faith-based emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness and other significant life challenges. The aide supports shelter guests and daily operations in a safe, structured, and compassionate setting. This is a direct-support position that works alongside shelter and case management staff and does not carry an individual caseload.

What you'll do

• Welcome, supervise, and provide day-to-day support to shelter guests
• help maintain a safe, respectful, structured, faith-based environment
• support daily activities including meals, chapel, programming, and bed counts.
