Social Services Director

• Develop and implement social services programs, including dementia care, hospice, and palliative care
• collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary departments
• support direct-care staff with residents’ social service needs
• complete social service assessments on time
• attend quarterly care plan meetings
• ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Why this role

One year of social services experience is preferred, preferably in a skilled nursing home, but the employer will train the right candidate. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is also specified.
