Clinical Director

The Clinical Director is an onsite, full-time role in Norman, OK, with compensation of $75,000–$80,000 per year. The director leads clinical services and therapeutic programming for adolescents receiving residential and day treatment at Red River Youth Academy, whose mission is to help young people build life skills and long-term success. The role exists to ensure high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. It guides clinical staff and works with facility leadership and medical providers to support safe, individualized treatment for youth.

What you'll do

• Supervise clinical department staff, including therapists
• guide direct care staff on clinical programming and treatment expectations
• partner with facility leadership on safe therapeutic practices
• ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance
• monitor clinical documentation and treatment records
• lead treatment team meetings and clinical staffing reviews
• ensure individualized interventions and treatment planning
• maintain relationships with community providers and referral partners
• collaborate with Risk Management and Internal Audit
• coach and manage clinical staff.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in a clinical or social service-related field, an active Oklahoma clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent), and supervisory or management experience. Occasional overnight travel may be needed.
