Cardinal McCloskey Community Services works to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and people with developmental disabilities through community-based services. The role supports families through weekly home visits focused on early childhood development, secure parent-child relationships, and early learning. By partnering with parents and using a Head Start-aligned curriculum, the Home Visitor helps parents serve as their children’s primary educators and supports children’s learning across developmental areas.

What you'll do

• Provide weekly home visits focused on early childhood development
• promote learning in language, literacy, math, science, social-emotional skills, and creative arts
• build trusting relationships with families
• plan visits and learning experiences with parents
• implement curriculum aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework
• support children with disabilities and dual language learners
• empower parents as primary educators.

Why this role

Requires at least a CDA. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Human Services, or Psychology with early childhood credits is preferred. The role has no remote option.
