Maintenance Manager

What you'll do

• Oversee installation of new equipment and machinery
• establish maintenance standards and supervise daily department activity
• coach and direct the maintenance team
• ensure equipment supports maximum productivity
• maintain facility information for decision-making
• schedule manpower and maintenance work
• coordinate plant activities with the Production Manager
• develop short- and long-range preventive maintenance programs
• prepare purchase requisitions and capital or replacement cost estimates
• promote facility safety
• monitor gas, electric, and water utilities
• select and develop maintenance employees.

Why this role

Candidates need an engineering degree or equivalent and 1–3 years in industrial maintenance management; without a degree, 8–10 years of experience including at least five years in management is required. CMMS experience is strongly preferred; PLC programming is highly desired.
