The Gastroenterology Hospitalist – Advanced Endoscopy role is onsite in Peoria, IL, with stated annual compensation of $800,000–$805,000. The position joins Carle Health Methodist Hospital’s Gastroenterology department. The physician provides inpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures across three hospital campuses, including EUS and ERCP, and participates in colorectal tumor boards. The role supports the 24/7 hospitalist program serving adult and pediatric inpatients, with daytime coverage support from an advanced practitioner.

What you'll do

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures
• triage GI calls and round on patients at three hospital campuses
• perform EUS and ERCP
• participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards
• use Epic EMR. Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday–Sunday, with 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• shifts include holidays as part of the normal rotation.
