HVAC Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Technician role is full-time and onsite in Denver, CO. Pay is $45–$52 per hour. Xcimer Energy is working to deploy inertial fusion power plants to support global decarbonization goals. The technician maintains and troubleshoots industrial HVAC systems so facility equipment functions reliably. The role also supports installations, system improvements, and safe facility operations through maintenance, diagnostics, and clear reporting on equipment condition.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chilled-water systems and centralized air-handling units
• clean coils, change filters, calibrate sensors, and service belts, drains, and dampers
• conduct electrical safety inspections
• troubleshoot commercial air-conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling controls
• estimate costs and downtime for major repairs or replacement
• document work in CMMS
• and follow applicable safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout and confined-space requirements. EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification and a valid driver's license are required.
