What you'll do

  • Works as a PRN Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist.
  • Supports physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Monitors patient vital signs and Hemodynamics.
  • Operates X-Ray equipment in fluoroscopy during procedures.
  • Adheres to radiation safety principles (ALARA).
  • Proficient in the safe operation of adjunct equipment.
  • Performs and maintains records of equipment preventive maintenance.
  • May assist in other procedures as directed.
  • Responsible for assisting the R.N.
  • in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Functions in a call-out situation by scrubbing and running the table (x-ray).
  • Ensures archiving and storage of digital data and maintains proper operation of image review stations.
  • Performs post-processing manipulation of digital data.
  • Functions in a Code Blue situation.
