Job overview

The Cook — Tsali Care role is onsite in Cherokee, NC; compensation is not specified. The cook supports residents and works closely with nursing staff, the cook supervisor, foodservice manager, and dietitian. The role prepares meals and snacks that meet posted menus, recipes, resident diet orders, and food-service requirements. Safe, sanitary preparation and service help meet residents’ nutritional needs and support resident satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to menus and standardized recipes
• follow specialized diet orders
• maintain food quality, nutrition, portion control, temperature, and sanitation standards
• store food safely
• maintain kitchen equipment and records
• assist with other facility duties as requested.
