What you'll do

• Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers
• review patient care reports and physician certification statements
• verify coverage and obtain prior authorizations
• apply ICD-10 and HCPCS codes
• monitor claims, correct errors, and manage denials and appeals
• post payments and reconcile accounts
• answer billing questions and establish payment plans
• maintain accurate records and protect confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and other requirements.
