Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

The Licensed Professional Counselor Associate role is based onsite in Katy, TX; services may also be provided via teletherapy. Pay is $30–$40 per hour, and the position is approximately 5–15 hours per week with flexible scheduling. In My Heart Psychology & Counseling provides psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and psychiatry services. The counselor provides behavioral health services to a diverse client population, supporting individualized treatment and client progress. The work includes counseling, assessment, documentation, crisis response when necessary, and collaboration with the client’s treatment team, within the associate’s scope, training, and competency.

What you'll do

• Conduct clinical interviews, screenings, assessments, and evaluations within professional scope and competency
• provide individual, group, and family counseling as assigned
• facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups
• develop treatment plans and recommendations
• use evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions
• document care
• monitor progress and make referrals or treatment modifications when indicated
• provide crisis intervention and follow safety procedures when necessary
• collaborate with treatment-team members
• maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable requirements.

Why this role

Flexible part-time schedule of approximately 5–15 hours weekly. The clinician must maintain their own Texas board-approved LPC Supervisor; the clinic does not provide LPC-A supervision.
