Director of Contracts

Director of Contracts is an onsite role in Washington, DC. Compensation is $180,000–$250,000 per year. Fuse’s mission is to accelerate the transition to fusion energy while safeguarding humankind. The director leads Fuse’s federal contracting portfolio from acquisition strategy through execution, building compliant processes and agreements that support government work. The role partners across legal, product, sales, engineering, and business development to structure opportunities and manage contract obligations.

What you'll do

• Guide planning, proposal support, negotiation, execution, and maintenance of federal contract vehicles
• manage the end-to-end federal contracting process
• develop strategic agreements
• collaborate on pricing and terms
• support identification and development of contract opportunities and partnerships
• coordinate compliance with cybersecurity and supply-chain requirements
• administer the GSA Schedule, including modifications and scope reviews.
