What you'll do

• manage requirements for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, workers’ compensation, and other payers
• verify benefits, eligibility, visit limits, and authorization requirements
• submit requests through payer portals, fax, phone, or other payer-specific processes
• track authorization status, approved and remaining visits, and expiration dates
• communicate with insurers about pending, denied, or additional requests
• coordinate with front-office staff, therapists, and management
• resolve authorization issues that could affect care or reimbursement
• maintain accurate documentation
• monitor payer requirements and support compliance with insurance guidelines and company procedures.
