Truck Service Technician III

Job overview

The Truck Service Technician III role is an onsite position in Temple, TX. Compensation is $24.04–$46.16 per hour. The senior-level technician supports HOLT Truck Centers’ truck and equipment service operations. The role diagnoses and repairs trucks and related equipment, helping ensure safe, reliable performance and quality service. It also supports team capability by mentoring lower-level technicians and completing required technical and safety training.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex engine malfunctions
• repair trucks, trailers, and related equipment
• disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components to factory specifications
• perform quality inspections and road tests
• use diagnostic software and tools
• complete service documentation
• follow contamination-control, HAZMAT, and safety requirements
• communicate progress to supervisors and customers
• mentor lower-level technicians
• complete assigned training.
