The CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Peabody, MA. Pay is $25.00–$45.00 per hour, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The role supports a contract manufacturer specializing in CNC machining, precision fabrication, and cleanroom welding for high-tech industries. The machinist sets up and operates horizontal and vertical milling equipment, follows documented fabrication processes, and works with programming and cell teams to produce parts to specification. Accurate measurement, quality-policy compliance, and orderly equipment and tooling support the client’s precision manufacturing work.

What you'll do

• Set up horizontal and vertical Mazak milling machines and related equipment
• use Mazatrol controls and G and M code functions
• manage tool lists, offsets, pallet fixturing, and tooling
• coordinate with programming to develop milling techniques
• read prints, travelers, work instructions, and maintenance procedures
• measure and record dimensional features
• follow documented fabrication recipes and ISO and quality policies
• maintain equipment, tooling, and work area.
