What you'll do

• Operate conveying equipment, dust collectors, ship loaders, fire suppression systems, and associated equipment to load ships according to operating plans and instructions
• operate mobile equipment including bulldozers, skid steers, front-end loaders, and Ship Gear
• maintain housekeeping and fire-safety standards
• inspect equipment and report damage or repair needs
• perform minor maintenance such as adjusting, lubricating, cleaning, washing, testing, and replacing filters or hoses
• follow governmental, state, and company procedures
• ensure safe equipment conditions and work with flaggers as needed. Work at other Baton Rouge-area Host locations may be required. Varied shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
