CNC Programmer

The work helps meet production schedules while balancing machining quality, throughput, and tool life.

What you'll do

• Program 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills using Mastercam
• create tool paths and machining strategies
• simulate NC files in Vericut
• maintain program revision control, setup sheets, and work instructions
• review drawings and specifications
• optimize cutting parameters, tools, and machining sequences
• design and machine fixture tooling
• support machine setup and operation, first-article runs, and operator troubleshooting
• manage programming workload and production priorities
• maintain organized digital archives and backups. Requires 8+ years of CNC programming experience including Mastercam, ability to set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, and ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.
