What you'll do

• Prepare cost estimates for custom fabricated equipment and assemblies
• review specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
• estimate materials, labor, purchased components, outside services, and subcontracted fabrication
• support project quotations
• evaluate fabrication methods and cost-effective solutions
• support new product introductions and engineering changes
• solicit supplier quotations and perform make-versus-buy analyses
• maintain cost records and estimating databases
• analyze actual costs against estimates
• support bid reviews and process improvements
• maintain accurate ERP costing data.
