The Power Systems Engineer role is onsite in Broomfield, CO, with a salary range of $150,000–$200,000 per year. The engineer owns the spacecraft electrical power system from architecture and budgets through design, integration, and qualification. The work includes solar-array interfaces, high- and low-voltage buses, power conditioning, battery management, and distribution, enabling the spacecraft’s propulsion and other electrical loads.

What you'll do

• Own spacecraft power architecture and budgets
• design the array-to-bus interface and MPPT strategy
• define bus specifications against loads
• lead PCDU and power electronics development with the avionics team
• build the power flatsat with array and propulsion load simulators
• carry the subsystem through integration, EMC, and environmental qualification.
