The position supports Medicare lien resolution, medical cost projections, and Medicare Set-Aside services. CorVel provides risk management solutions for workers’ compensation, auto, health, and disability management. The coordinator helps the nursing specialists deliver accurate, timely client work by reviewing medical documentation, supporting Medicare-related preparation, verifying diagnosis and medication details, and managing records and assignments. The role also provides stakeholder support and administrative assistance to the nursing team.

What you'll do

• Proofread, format, and quality-review medical reports, cost projections, and client correspondence
• assist with Medicare-related documentation, lien support, and medical cost projection activities
• verify ICD diagnosis codes and medication information
• communicate with Medicare Advantage Plans, subrogation offices, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
• review and organize medical records
• manage documents in government portals and internal systems while maintaining confidentiality
• track assignments and support Certified Nurse Medicare Specialists, Nurse Life Care Planners, and the nursing team.
