The Sheet Metal Mechanic I role is onsite and field-based in Norristown, PA. Starting pay is $21–$25 per hour. The company builds and installs commercial kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. Working under experienced foremen, the mechanic installs and fits sheet metal components on job sites while learning the trade. The work supports the installation of exhaust systems intended to help keep kitchens safe, compliant, and operating.

What you'll do

• Install kitchen hoods, ductwork, fans, curbs, and support equipment
• measure, cut, and fit sheet metal components
• work safely on rooftops, ladders, and lifts
• read basic job specifications and follow directions
• prepare work and support the crew
• learn applicable codes and trade standards.
