Parts Counter Salesperson

The Parts Counter Salesperson role is onsite in Sterling, CO. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. Transwest sells transportation products and services to retail, commercial, and industrial customers and its service department. The salesperson helps customers and technicians identify and order the correct parts, supports sales through product knowledge, and manages order and inventory information. The role contributes to customer satisfaction and departmental objectives through accurate service, follow-up, and cross-selling.

What you'll do

• Assist customers with purchases and process orders
• communicate with technicians and retail customers to identify correct parts
• drive sales through engagement and suggestive selling
• answer calls and follow up on orders
• resolve customer issues
• record departmental data
• maintain familiarity with inventory, merchandising, and ordering systems
• enter and retrieve order, transfer, inventory, quotation, and pricing data
• maintain a safe, orderly counter and retail area.
