Food Service Aide

What you'll do

• Assist with meal and snack preparation and service according to program guidelines
• follow CACFP requirements and meal patterns
• clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
• wash dishes
• receive, store, and organize food and supplies
• follow food handling and temperature-control procedures
• support classroom meal service as needed
• maintain meal counts and documentation
• assist with inventory
• attend required training and meetings.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must meet North Carolina child care licensing requirements and enroll in the NC Early Childhood Credential or other required coursework within 90 days or by the next available class.
