What you'll do

• Prepare IV and intramuscular vitamins
• perform venipuncture and place peripheral IVs, with possible implanted-port access
• monitor clients during infusions
• maintain supply inventory and the infusion room and sterile hood
• document therapy in paper charts and the EHR
• support scheduling and customer service
• coordinate with the medical provider as needed
• and respond to emergencies according to protocol.
