This role manages a collaborative and dynamic team focused on electric transmission line design projects, serving as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead for high-voltage systems.

What you'll do

• Manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission.
• Serve as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems.
• Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of all types of capital and maintenance projects from 34.5 kV to 765 kV.
• Assist the team, as well as independently perform: engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and prepare material procurement and construction documents.
• Work alongside project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management.
• Develop an engineering team with direct report responsibilities.
• Be accountable for managing client relations, proposal development, scope creation, and project management.
• Apply AI, automation, and digital design platforms to streamline grid modernization and increase design efficiency.
